How Codex 13 works

Codex 13 teaches thinking.
It’s not about a list of topics. It’s about developing competencies — layer by layer.
Competency model
Section titled “Competency model”The core of the system is competencies, not institutions.
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git, Linux, networking, security — these are not separate “departments” but elements of a larger system.
The institution (vocational school, university, course) is the context. Competence is the foundation.
Every material, task, and project maps to specific competencies.
System layers

Practice
Tasks and assessments reference competencies, have clear criteria, and develop real skills.
Projects
Projects integrate multiple competencies. They are not just “assignments to hand in” — they are portfolio pieces and real growth drivers.
Open knowledge

No paywalls. No artificial access restrictions. No subscription models.
Educational materials are and will remain free — because their value comes not from restricting access, but from reliability and consistency.
Real work, real thinking
Section titled “Real work, real thinking”Materials are not created for algorithms.
They emerge from work:
- with systems — designing, building, maintaining,
- with organisations — translating technology into real results,
- with people — education, mentoring, solving problems together.
Every material has its source in practice.
What is paid
Section titled “What is paid”Only human time can be paid for:
- mentoring,
- strategic consulting,
- collaboration on real problems.

The biggest problem in technology is not a lack of tools.
